Children’s Ministry Volunteer Requirements & Responsibilities

Background Check & Experience:
- Must pass a comprehensive background screening.
- Prior experience working with children ages 1–11 is required.
Safety & Care:
- Be detail-oriented and proactive in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
- Treat each child with the same care and respect you would your own.
Teaching & Engagement:
- Lead age-appropriate Bible story lessons, crafts, and activities.
- Encourage participation, answer questions, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Cleanup & Maintenance:
- Tidy the classroom and materials after each session.
- Ensure toys, books, and supplies are organized and ready for the next use.
